Passive Harmonic Filter

Passive harmonic filters and line reactors are recommended for single drive applications and sized by the total current. This series is available up to 865A with nominal voltage up to 750 Vac.

A harmonic filter is a device that reduces or mitigates harmonics to tolerable levels and are commonly used to lower harmonic distortion to levels to meet IEEE-519 compliance. Harmonic filters solve problems in markets such as Oil & Gas, HVAC, Water/Wastewater and Mining industries. When harmonics are left unaddressed, it can lead to expensive damage to components, production downtime, and penalties from utilities providers. Enerdoor's wide array of harmonic mitigation solutions includes passive harmonic filters and line reactors and are the best THDI reduction solutions in the industry.

Passive Harmonic Filters are currently the most common method used to control the flow of harmonic currents.  Enerdoor passive harmonic filtering solutions improve flicker emissions and reduce the effects of voltage dips under 5ms on the machine's performance. This series is available up to 865A with nominal voltage up to 750 Vac and features different levels of attenuation offering the best solution to meet the EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-12 and IEEE-519 International Standard requirements.

Enerdoor's new technology the FINHRM5C is the most advanced and smallest passive harmonic filter on the market.  It ensures IEEE-519 compliance, is UL recognized and offers a current range up to 690 Vac.

The FINHRM5 offers a current range up to 800A and the FINHRM up to 200A. The typical THDI reduction is <5% for the FINHRM5 and <15% for the FINHRM. Neither filter is effected by network impedance. This series is designed to guarantee a power factor greater than 0.9 considering an initial value of 0.7. An additional external capacitor to improve power factor correction may be included.

Enerdoor line reactors are available with 3% and 5% impedance and with nominal voltage up to 600 Vac.
