Passive Harmonic Filters
Passive harmonic filters are currently the most commonly used method to control the flow of harmonic currents. Enerdoor passive harmonic filtering solutions improve flicker emissions and reduce the effects of voltage dips under 5ms on the machine's performance. This series is available up to 1400A with nominal voltage up to 750 Vac and features different levels of attenuation offering the best solution to meet the EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-12 and IEEE-519 International Standard requirements.
Enerdoor's new technology the FINHRM5C is the most advanced and smallest passive harmonic filter on the market. It ensures IEEE-519 compliance, is UL recognized, and offers a current range up to 1400A. The FINHRM5 offers a current range up to 800A and the FINHRM up to 200A. The typical THDI reduction is <5% for the FINHRM5/FINHRM5C and <15% for the FINHRM. Neither filter is effected by network impedance. This series is designed to guarantee a power factor greater than 0.9 considering an initial value of 0.7. An additional external capacitor to improve power factor correction may be included.
